[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=8]It had been hard to simply walk away, but here she was.

Having just recently left SunClan, the blue tortoiseshell was now inches away from the SkyClan border; something she'd be hoping to cross. Her light gray gaze traveled upwards, away from the ground, until she was looking ahead of her but at nothing in particular. [b]"Excuse me?" The young apprentice would call out, ears flattening back slightly as tears began to prick at her eyes. She could feel the tears coming on but they didn't yet appear as she tried her best to blink them away, a small but forced smile on her maw.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=8]Blinking, the apprentice found herself shrinking a bit. [b]"All of that's correct." She'd state, watching the skunk carefully with her dull gaze. "I.. Yeah, I would like to join." Honestly, Chasingpaw was a bit nervous about being here. How did Dawnguard know that? She didn't know any of these SkyClanners, or she didn't believe so.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=8]"I haven't really been agreeing with SunClan lately," Chasingpaw would admit, gray gaze locked on Onestar in a cautious manner. "SkyClan seemed like a nice enough place." Did they perhaps not trust her? That idea worried her a bit as her paws shuffled around awkwardly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"Seems reasonable enough. I accept that." Of course they would want to keep a close eye on her. Having a joiner from an enemy Clan must not make sense but she was hoping she'd be able to prove herself to them.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Another nod of her head was given. "I swear I'll be loyal to SkyClan." The apprentice-aged female would promise before her gaze drifted carefully towards Northernstar, a small smile on her face. "Just looking to join, ma'am."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]They didn't trust her, did they? It was all due to the fact she was originally from a Clan that they were enemies with and that instantly made her someone they had to keep an eye on; a suspect, almost. It felt weird being in that position but she wouldn't complain. All Chasingpaw was interested in doing was proving to them that she was ready to move on from SunClan. This was her new home.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"Hello."

Her greeting was a bland one but there hadn't been much to say and she didn't feel the need to keep talking. If she were to say more than that one simple word to begin, they might have thought she was rather annoying, so she kept her social personality trait hidden behind the plain one. "I'm Chasingpaw." That was the only other thing she felt the need to say at that moment, taking a seat and allowing her tail to wrap neatly around her paws, a small smile forming on her lips.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]The rather small feline approaching had just joined having left SunClan. If she knew Peppermint was dead? Truly, she would've freaked. Chasingpaw had always liked the Captain and if she were to find out, she'd be absolutely devastated, but she doubted anyone would understand that.

The blue tortoiseshell would approach the male, tail flicking around a bit as her lips pulled themselves into a small, friendly smile as she murmured a greeting. "Hi." The single word rolled off her tongue smoothly before she was continuing with her name. "We haven't met; I'm Chasingpaw."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Oh goodness. A yawn escaping her lips, the apprentice would give a quick nod, tail tip flicking from side to side eagerly. Having Chillygaze break out into a run truly caught the female off guard and the blue tortoiseshell found herself chasing after her mentor quickly. "I'm coming, Chillygaze!" Chasingpaw would state loudly, making sure that the other SkyClanner could hear her reply.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]The last time Chas has been crying was before she got here.

Now she realized she was fine. SkyClan was fine. Her family.. was fine. Of course, she couldn't be completely sure about that last one but she was sure they were doing okay with her. The only one left was Swanny and despite feeling bad for leaving her sister, she couldn't help but not feel at home there anymore without Darcy and everyone else. A light sigh escaping her lips, the blue tortoiseshell would do her best to push the thoughts out of her mind as she approached.

"There are plenty of reasons one cries," Chasingpaw would retort as she approached on white slippers, gray gaze moving from one to the other before she was focused on the Lady with a firm frown on her maw. What could possibly be the matter? The apprentice didn't want to bother, so she simply stayed silent after her quick statement. There was nothing else she had to say about the situation besides she hoped that whatever was wrong, would get resolved. Chas had hope. She'd always have hope.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"I'm sure I can find my way around but thanks for the offer." A smile was offered before she turned her gray gaze towards Northernstar, the smile still on her face. "My name's Chasingpaw; nice to meet you."
